Yakima RidgeBack - 5 Bike Rack - Fits 2" and 1.25" Hitches

The Yakima RidgeBack 5 is a hitch mounted bike rack that fits into either a 2 inch or 1.25 inch hitch. The Ridge Back utilizes Yakima's new UpperHand control lever that tilts the mast to make access to the rear hatch without the bikes on quick and convenient. The RidgeBack offers Yakima's all new ZipStrip technology which is designed to make attaching your bike onto the rack easier than the previous styles that used a rubber strap mechanism.

The Yakima Ridge Back uses a SpeedKnob to tighten the rack into the hitch without using tools. Once tight the SpeedKnob can be locked preventing someone from removing the RidgeBack off of your vehicle.

A new feature available for the Yakima RidgeBack is the fold back tongue which allows the bike rack to be folded flat for easier storage in your garage, condo, apartment, or basement. The Yakima RidgeBack is also available in 2 bike or 4 bike models.
