Truck Box Wheel Mount Bike Racks

If you are prefer not to use a frame mount rack because you have a carbon fiber frame or a frame with unique geometry, wheel mount bike racks are a good solution. Your bike will face backwards in the truck box, with the rack connected through the tailgate. The bike gets held in place with a ratcheting hook against the rear of the front wheel. Note that you should measure the length of your bike to ensure it is shorter than your truck box, because these racks are not able to be used with the tailgate down.
