Kuat Mini Skinny Roof Top Cargo Basket

The Kuat Mini Skinny is a unique, slim roof top cargo basket that has the load surface of standard "fat" basket while leaving 50% of usable cross bar space for other accessories. It attaches to nearly any vehicle's roof rack, and comes complete with a single 9mm bike mount. The Mini Skinny has a Matte Black PowderCoat finish with a silver accented logo on the front wind fairing.

Slim, narrow profile to maximize bar space

With it's 23" wide design, the Kuat Mini Skinny roof basket allows you to carry your camping gear and bulky items in the basket while keeping half your bar free for a cargo box, bike, or kayak. Our customers like to pair the Mini Skinny with narrow ski boxes, kayaks, canoes, and ski/snowboard racks.

Carries one bike with 9mm quick release

A 9mm quick release bike skewer is mounted just behind the Mini Skinny's front wind fairing. Simply remove your bicycle's front wheel, clamp your forks with the included skewer, and strap the back wheel down through the rim with the included pull-tight nylon strap with cam buckle. Add a thru-axle adapter (sold separately) to carry bikes with alternative front axles.

Universal mounting hardware

U-bolts with wing-nuts are used to clamp the Kuat Mini Skinny on to factory or after-market crossbars with a maximum dimension of 4.5" wide by 1.75" thick. With the centre section of the Mini Skinny installed, your bars can be placed up to three feet apart.
