Yakima SkyLine Towers - For vehicles with fixed points, tracks, or for custom installations

Yakima SkyLine Towers are used to put a roof rack on a vehicle with factory tracks or factory fixed point mounting hardware. They are also great for custom installations on naked roofs or fibreglass canopies. The SkyLine Towers can be used with Yakima's aerodynamic JetStream Bars, CoreBars, HD Bars, or classic Yakima RoundBars with the use of the StreamLine Roundbar Adapter Kit. SkyLine Towers attach to Landing Pad bases to create a complete roof rack system.

Easy-to-use snap-fit design

Yakima's SkyLine Towers use a super fast snap-fit design to attach to a Landing Pad base. Simply flip open the front cover of the tower and the attachment bolts retract allowing it to sit into the Landing Pad base. For custom mounts, see the Landing Pad 1 for tracks, Landing Pad 6 for fibreglass canopies, and Landing Pad 7 for sheet metal roofs.

Strong stainless steel construction

The Yakima SkyLine Towers are designed and constructed from stainless steel, die-cast aluminum, glass reinforced nylon, and elastomer padding to ensure strength and longevity. Yakima designed the StreamLine Tower series to be sleek, strong and quiet, maximizing versatility and carrying strength while looking great on your vehicle's roof. Yakima backs their rack products with a limited lifetime warranty.

Four bar styles to choose from

The SkyLine Towers can be used with the Yakima JetStream Aluminum Aero Bars, Yakima CoreBar Steel Aero Bars, Yakima HD Bars or Yakima RoundBars. Bars are sold separately and both the Roundbars and HD Bars require the use of an additional adapter which is sold separately.

Locks available for full security

The SkyLine Towers can be locked to your vehicle by purchasing a Yakima 4 pack of SKS lock cores (sold separately). Locks prevent someone from removing the rack from your vehicle. This is especially important if you are carrying bikes or a cargo box as it prevents theft of your gear. We always recommend purchasing locks, as the SkyLine Tower uses a simple quick release function that allows removal of the rack in seconds if it is not locked.
