Kayak Racks & Carriers

Racks For Cars carries kayak racks which are designed to hold a kayak in place on top of your vehicle’s crossbars (or its bare roof in the case of foam block systems). If your vehicle doesn’t have a rack, visit our base roof rack systems page to select a set of crossbars specific to your vehicle.

Kayaks can be held on their side in J-style side mount cradles, cockpit face up with saddle-style flat mount cradles, or against a vertical bar with kayak stackers. It is important to tie down kayaks both around their hull and from the bow and the stern.
